Youth Ministry
Cutting Edge Youth meets on Wednesday nights from 6 - 7 pm for vibrant, contemporary worship, solid, relevant & challenging teaching, dynamic Spirit-led ministry and fun-filled fellowship. All this you can expect when you come to Cutting Edge Youth. Everything we do at Cutting Edge Youth is purposeful to see Christ exalted in our lives and to develop a passion for Him and ministry that will be relevant. Our theme verses are:
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." I Timothy 4:12
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20.
We recognize and accept our place both in Whitefish Foursquare Church and in the greater expression of the Body of Christ in Whitefish to fulfill God's calling on our lives. To this end, we get together with other youth groups in town to develop relationship and ministry opportunities with other believers. Also, we are developing relationships with other Foursquare churches in our division.
The goal and vision of Cutting Edge Youth at Whitefish Foursquare Church is:- To see young people saved and set free by the power of the cross of Jesus Christ.
- Disciple young people in the fundamentals of their Christian walk, continually emphasizing prayer, worship, Bible study, and evangelism on a daily basis.
- To see each young person filled with the Holy Spirit and operating in the spiritual gifts as outlined in Romans 12 and I Corinthians 12.
- To release young people into ministry and service motivated by compassion and Christ-like love for others.
- To develop in each young person a vision to win their homes and communities for Jesus Christ.
- To develop an attitude of being a "World Christian" and a sense of personal calling and ministry in that world.
- To provide an atmosphere where young people can make a right decision for Jesus each and every service.
Our youth ministry is an investment that the members of Whitefish
Foursquare Church make in the reaching and discipling of the next
generation. We are creating a safe place where the youth of our
community can come and hang out, play games, do homework, and learn
practical Christian skills for their lives. We have a pool table, dart
board, a multimedia center, and lots of food for those much needed
snacks. Come and join us!
